About the event
Following the fantastic success of our 2025 events, we are delighted to welcome you to a winter edition of our much-loved "Italian Cookery & Dining Experience", taking place on 26 February 2026.
Hosted by Adele Ursitti alongside special guest Carmela Sereno Hayes (from Carmela's Kitchen), and proudly sponsored by Filippo Berio, this cosy evening celebrates the comforting, heart-warming dishes of the Italian winter table.
At the centre of the experience are two much-loved regional classics: Zuppa Imperiale in brodo and Tortelli filled with Ricotta and Mortadella. These dishes reflect the soul of Emilia-Romagna cooking - patient, generous, and deeply rooted in tradition.
This is not just a supper club, but an hand on cookery workshop and dining experience. You will learn how to make Tortelli from scratch, mastering traditional pasta dough, filling, and shaping techniques. Have fun, learn a new skill, and take home your own pasta creations to enjoy later. You will then be treated to a warm, winter four-course homemade Italian feast, served in the beautiful surroundings of MammaLina's Cookery School.
Adele and Carmela, both originally from the Molise region, share a deep passion for authentic homemade Italian cooking. Their approach is rooted in family traditions, seasonal ingredients, and the timeless values of cucina povera — simple food made with love, meant to be shared.

On the Menu:
Welcome Aperitivo with Prosecco, canapés, homemade focaccia and Filippo Berio EVOO testing
Antipasti - “Zuppa Imperiale in brodo”, delicate savoury dumpling served in a rich, aromatic broth
Primo - “Filled Pasta Workshop” & Main Course: “Tortelli Modenesi” filled with Ricotta & Mortadella, tossed in fragrant sage butter and served on a bed of softly sauteed leeks (Vegetarian option available on request)
Contorni - Citrus Salad and Seasonal Vegeblas side dishes
Dolce - Italian Ricotta Cheesecake served with homegrown Rhubarb compote
Tea/coffee served with Cantucci, Italian Biscotti

Please note:
This class can be personalised for groups of 4 or more people, please refer to the Private & Small Group Cooking Classes section of our website.
Terms & Conditions:
Our “Cookery & Dining” events are non-refundable. No changes are allowed if the class is missed. When you register for a class, you agree to these terms.
Should you not be able to attend you can either:
Send someone else to attend on your behalf (subject to prior notification to us)
Request at least 5 working days before the date of your class, to postpone it to another upcoming event, depending on availability.
We require a minimum of 8 participants attending the event and reserve the rights to cancel the class due to insufficient enrolment or if we need to postpone it due to an unforeseen occurrence.
We will, at your convenience, transfer you onto another course; if this option does not suit, you will receive a full refund. In this case, you will be informed at least 48 hours before the class.
